orthoses

Orthoses are insoles that have been made specifically for each patient to try to reduce their symptoms. A mould of the feet is taken to capture the foot's most stable position.

The devices much like glasses for the eyes are a support, and not necessarily a cure, but play an important role providing improved foot function, stability and comfort.

There are many pathologies that can be treated with bespoke orthoses including;

Flat feet, Overpronation, Plantar fasciitis, Morton’s Neuroma, Tendonitis,

Sports Injuries, Shin Splints, Poor running technique, Plantar skin lesions,

Bunions and Hallux Limitus, Back and lower limb joint pain

Other foot problems including loss of natural fat padding, diabetic foot problems, corns, callous and the rheumatoid foot can also be treated with softer, shock absorbing insoles, which can also be arranged.
